The Diversity Recovery Alliance (DRA) is San Antonio's first and only dedicated LGBTQIA+ recovery community center — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on a simple belief: Every path to recovery is unique, and everyone deserves a safe place to walk it.

Why This Matters
The LGBTQIA+ community faces addiction at higher rates, and too often faces recovery spaces that aren't built for them.
LGBTQIA+ people experience substance use disorder at roughly two to four times the rate of the general population.
Prior to the opening of the Diversity Recovery Alliance, there was no dedicated LGBTQIA+ recovery community center in San Antonio.
Recovery fellowships now call the Diversity Recovery Center home: AA, NA, CMA, CA, Dharma Recovery, Al-Anon, and more.
