DRA Room Rentals—Recurring Meetings MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)
Between the DRA Center and LGBTQIA+ Recovery Groups
For Ongoing Meeting Rentals
1. PURPOSE
This MOU explains the agreement between the DRA Center and LGBTQIA+ recovery groups that want to rent meeting rooms regularly. The DRA Center provides space to support recovery in the LGBTQIA+ community.
2. ROOM OPTIONS & RATES
The DRA Center has three meeting rooms available to rent by the hour:

Small | 12 chairs + 1 wheelchair space | 13 or fewer | $5 |
Medium | 20 chairs + 1 wheelchair space | 21 or fewer | $10 |
Large | 80 chairs + 2 wheelchair spaces | 82 or fewer | $20 |
Note: Groups must choose a room that fits their usual attendance. Using extra chairs that go beyond room capacity is not allowed. If a group uses more than one room, they will be charged for each room.
3. OPTIONAL: DEPOSITORY PAYMENT PROGRAM
Groups can choose to have DRA handle rent payments by using group donations.
Yes, the Group will use the DRA Depository Program.
No, the Group will pay rent another way.
If "Yes" is selected:
- All meeting donations go into the locked safe at the DRA office.
- DRA will provide deposit envelopes above the safe.
- The DRA Treasurer will log the deposits and deduct the rent.
- The group must give the Treasurer up-to-date contact info.
- Note: DRA is not responsible for funds once deposited.
4. USE OF SPACE
The space must only be used for recovery meetings and similar activities. The group must follow all laws and DRA rules. No unsafe or illegal activity is allowed.
5. WHAT DRA PROVIDES
- Chairs set up for each room.
- Two all-gender restrooms (ADA accessible).
- Water for everyone.
- Free coffee for the first month (can be discussed later).
6. DECORATIONS & SIGNS
- You can put up banners, steps, traditions, etc. during your meeting
- Don’t use tape, nails, tacks, or anything that could damage surfaces.
- No candles, fog machines, or anything unsafe.
- Permanent signs need DRA approval.
7. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Group: Handles setup, cleanup, and makes sure all members follow DRA policies.
- DRA: Provides clean, working rooms and access for the group.
